Our Team

A self-proclaimed clean energy nerd with a financial background, Jen founded the NC Clean Energy Fund to ensure that affordable financing options for the clean energy transition were available to everyone. As a Co-Director for NCCEF, she strives for inclusive collaboration in developing wholistic solutions and systematic change for the way clean energy projects are financed. She is inspired by the amazing people doing amazing things to meet the moment during this unprecedented time.

Melissa is motivated by the prospect of a shared prosperity that allows more and more people and organizations to invest in efficiency, clean energy and clean transportation. She is a pragmatist, motivated to find short term solutions while seeking bigger fixes. She finds great joy in collaborating with the many creative organizations and individuals who are working to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future.

Adrienne is committed to supporting an organization that prioritizes equity and a sustainable future for all. As Chief Operating Officer, she actively develops processes to create efficiencies and ensure continuous improvement in NCCEF’s internal operations. Adrienne’s strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills drive her focus on maximizing the organization’s effectiveness in delivering funding opportunities to clean energy initiatives.

As the Program Director for Solar for All, Allie leads NCCEF’s participation in EnergizeNC, a program of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Allie is driven by a desire to make people’s lives tangibly better while we address the impacts of climate change. It is important to her that clean energy is accessible for all, and she’s grateful to play a small part in making this a reality in North Carolina.

As Program Manager for NCCEF, Michelle designs and administers programs that lift barriers homeowners face to investing in energy efficiency and solar energy. With NCCEF, she hopes to bring lending tools to the market that benefit a diversity of communities and enable the transition to a clean energy economy. Michelle loves that through her work she is able to contribute to the cutting-edge solutions that combat climate change and build community resilience.

As the Special Assistant for NCCEF, Emily is driven by her passion for learning and inclusivity, aligning closely with our mission to help underserved communities increase their climate resilience. Facilitating seamless operations for our Co-Directors is not just a job but a source of deep fulfillment, knowing that every task completed contributes to our collective impact. She aspires to foster an environment where every voice is heard and valued, ultimately enhancing our ability to empower those who need it most in the clean energy enterprise.
